Welcome! I’m Alexandra and I’m an trainee Integrative Psychotherapist. That means I draw from a wide range of techniques, knowledge and experience to support you in a way that is carefully shaped to your particular needs. We can plan together what you would like to work on and how, adjusting as we go if you find there are new ideas or developments you would like to explore. I believe strongly in the power of agency, and will travel alongside you find a way forward that makes sense specifically to you.

I can help you with a wide range of issues including (but not limited to):
- relationships (including divorce)
- self esteem
- neurodiversity
- parenting and caring responsibilities
- work challenges (especially for creative professionals)
- childhood trauma
- stress and anxiety
- depression
- suicidal thoughts

My approach is gentle, creative and empowering, offering you the safety and freedom to express what is going on for you without any judgement or agenda, and giving you space to develop understanding and practical strategies to cope. For clients who are interested in modalities and techniques, I work with a psychodynamically informed person-centred focus, bringing in elements of transactional analysis, gestalt therapy and CBT, depending on my client.
Before I trained as a therapist I worked in the arts and in education. My personal experience is varied, and I am passionate about learning about individuals, their challenges, their strengths and their unique impact in the world. I bring warmth, sensitivity, humour and curiosity to my relationships, and hope I can support you to heal and grow into your truly contented self.
