Welcome. Reaching out for support is a brave first step, and I’m here to offer a safe, compassionate space where you can feel heard, understood, and empowered to move forward. I work collaboratively with individuals and families to help them make sense of their experiences, navigate challenges, and rediscover a sense of wellbeing and resilience.

I’m Dr. Sara Trayman, a dedicated and compassionate Chartered Counselling Psychologist with over 15 years of experience. My approach is warm, empathetic, and client-centred, drawing on a range of models in order to offer an individualised approach to the challenges you are facing. At the heart of my work is a humanistic philosophy—ensuring you feel truly heard, valued, and understood.

I’ve worked across a variety of settings including the NHS, social care, private practice, charities, and hospitals. I specialise in supporting adolescents and adults with challenges such as anxiety, depression, trauma, bereavement, and relationship issues. I also provide supervision for therapists, consultancy services, and training.
Sessions last up to 50 minutes and are usually held weekly. I offer self-funded sessions and I’m also registered with all major private healthcare providers. My private practice is a safe, non-judgemental space where we can work together toward your growth and emotional wellbeing. Let’s take the next step together.
