Hello
I’m Yelda,
I’m an experienced, accredited psychotherapeutic counsellor and a registered member of the British Association for Counselling and Psychotherapy (MBACP Accred).
About Yelda
You may have a sense that something doesn’t quite feel right, even if you can’t put it into words. Perhaps certain patterns keep showing up, relationships feel difficult, or past experiences continue to affect how you feel in the present.
I’m a warm and down to earth. I work with adults and young people experiencing anxiety, stress, trauma, low self-esteem, relationship difficulties and significant life changes.
I have a particular interest in supporting people affected by narcissistic abuse and emotionally abusive relationships, including the lasting impact these experiences can have on confidence, self-worth, trust, boundaries and sense of self.
My approach is compassionate and tailored to you. I offer a safe, non-judgmental space where you can speak openly and explore your experiences at a pace that feels right for you. Together, we can make sense of what feels difficult and look more closely at the patterns, experiences or relationships that may be affecting you.
I have experience supporting people with emotional wellbeing, relationships, parenting, self-esteem and the challenges that can come with major life changes. I also have a strong background working with young people experiencing anxiety, self-harm and significant transitions in their lives.
Above all, I aim to provide a space where you can feel heard, understood and able to explore what matters to you without pressure or judgement.
I also have a Level 6 qualification in Anti-Oppressive Clinical Supervision.
